Govt. The Department of Examinations of this College is fully committed to contribute its visionary role for ensuring transparent conduct of internal examinations, judicious assessment and providing quality services to all stake holders though state-of-art based on fool proof mechanism coupled with standard operating procedures devised for examination activities adhering to Rules & Regulations. The Office of the Controller of Examinations guards the standards of quality in the conduct of Examinations at Intermediate & Undergraduate (BS-FYDP) levels, while enforcing rules and regulations of Semester and Annual Examinations.
The Examinations Section is responsible for ensuring that valid and reliable evaluation procedures are integrated into the curriculum. The Department also has the task of designing, evaluation modules, analyzing internal exam result. On a day-to-day basis the Examinations Section focuses heavily on the administrative tasks involved in providing the students and their parents with the services of internal result assessments. The Examinations section is headed by a Controller of Examinations along-with his team who is responsible for the overall supervision of the section.
The mission:
- Ensuring that examinations are administered under safe, standardized and secure conditions; so that results can be used to make sound and informed decisions;
- Promoting the development of good teacher assessment skills; and
- Developing examinations in response to stated curriculum objectives.
The Key Responsibilities:
Controller of Examinations Office is established for the conduct of internal examinations, university issued result notifications and degrees. This office plays a key role to hold the mid-term and sent-up examinations as per following laid down tasks.
- To prepare and announce in advance the calendar of examinations.
- Management of examinations as per requirements.
- Arrangements for paper setting and evaluation of answer scripts.
- Holding / conduct of internal examinations / administration of tests.
- Making arrangements of marking / evaluations of answer scripts from examiners.
- To establish a strong, reliable and credible internal examination/evaluation system in the institute.
- To improve the quality of examinations and evaluation, and ensuring credibility of the processes throughout the system.
- To ensure that all components of the examinations system in the institute follow the rules and policies of the institute is true letter and spirit to ensure the same quality standards across the board.
- To improve the examinations and evaluation policies of the institute however, the revision of policy according to the demand has also been the policy of the department.
- To boost the examination system to the optimum level to get better, speedy and reliable internal results.
- To meet day to day requirement of the college.
- Implementation of decisions of hardship case committees, unfair means committee, or discipline committee.
- Making the internal results of students.
